Reunion 2011

Update for Reunion weekend

Friday, May 13th after cocktails at NBS:

Celene and I are looking for a restaurant within walking distance of NBS so that we can continue to catch-up with each other.  

Saturday, May 14th at 3pm
We are planning a picnic gathering (look for blue and white balloons) for children and spouses after the Alumnae luncheon. 
Location: grassy area to the right of Turtle Pond and Delacorte Theatre (see photo below)

NBS 25th reunion is upon us!!!

Celene and I are so excited to share with you the details of our Nightingale-Bamford 25th Reunion weekend, May 12th-14th, 2011. We are also planning two activities outside of NBS's agenda which we will post on our facebook page.

2:25pm Founders’ Day Celebration, H. Dale Hemmerdinger Auditorium
5:00-6:00pm Tours of the schoolhouse
6:00-8:00pm Reunion celebration cocktail party for all classes (honoring faculty/staff members for their 30 years of service)

Cost: $25 Reunion is free for the 5th year class and the 50th year class


11:00am  Panel of students in auditorium
12:00-2:00pm Lunch for reunion classes (ending in 1 and 6) in student center & Class photos

snapshots Fall '09

Crazy that my last post was back in Oct 2009! I was re-reading a comment from Gail Livingston, posted in March 2009, about stumbling upon this blog and not seeing anything new. So I will try and keep this blog current with things...

I was able to attend two events last Fall. One was for the class agents and the other was the annual Fair.

I am going to try and reschedule my Saturday morning shift at Cursive so that I can visit the NBS fair this year. Hope to see some familiar faces!

A familiar face at the Gift Fair '09

Jessica Dorfman Jones, NBS '87 and me at the NY Gift Fair in January. We bumped into each other in the aisles of the fair. It was so good to see her.
